The first few weeks of school were a success. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our new students and catching up with previous students.

Our lessons are going well and so is our unique classroom set up. Here is a breakdown in case you forgot!

Mrs. Green - Homeroom (3rd-5th) Classes include Bible and Spelling

Mr. Jenkins - 8th grade Math

Our students are rising to every challenge and I am very proud of the effort they have put into this year so far. Thank you for your continued support as we learn how to best teach your student!

This Month's Accomplishments: 
6th-8th grade: 
Memory Verse Memorization (10 verses!)
Spelling Words (40 words!)
Units of History Regarding the Frozen North of Northern America and Basic Geography
Units of Math Review (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division)

3rd-5th grade:
Units of History Regarding Basic Geography and American Immigration
Units of Math Review (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division)

Finished/Graded Work
Your student has a box in my classroom in which I place all completed and graded work. Once I hand back their work it becomes their responsibility to place it in their binders for future reference or bring it home for you to see. We also have our ALMA website up and running for your to check their grades. I will try to make sure grades are updated in ALMA for the most recent assignments every weekend so you may keep up to date on how your student is progressing.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office and speak to me or come in for a meeting any weekday from 3:10-3:30pm.

Picture Day: September 21st (Sunday best or school uniform for picture day attire)
No School/Professional Development: September 29th (no before or after care)
